Beliefs
Our beliefs are best summed up in the ancient statement of faith known as the Apostles’ Creed, which summarizes the teachings of the Holy Bible concerning the nature of God, the miracle of our redemption, and the hope we have for the future. In addition, our congregation subscribes, without reservation, to the other Confessional Documents of the Reformed Evangelical Synod of America.
The value of identifying with these historic statements of faith lay in the common bond it allows belivers to share with one another, and the connection it gives us to what came before. It ensures that the faith professed in our congregation isn't some new, novel concept of the preacher's, but that it is rooted, at heart, in the Word of God.
"...the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching,
and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals
(including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer."
Acts 2:42 (NLT)
